Chef D has a contagious passion for food and people. You'll probably catch him singing in the kitchen while preparing some of his favorite dishes.  With over 20 years of culinary experience, he skillfully fuses herbs, spices and fresh ingredients into mouth-watering culinary treats.  The most exciting part of cooking for Chef D is seeing a "clean plate" and a satisfied smile after someone has finished eating a meal that he has prepared.

Chef D's passion for cooking and mastery of spices began in Jamaica at the very young age of 8 years old.  He was responsible for walking a mile to the market to purchase food and then return home to cook for his family.  At 13, he moved to the USA and grew up in NYC.  In his early 30's he attended the Peter Kump Culinary School in Manhattan, now known as the Institute of Culinary Education.  

Chef D's 25+ years of culinary experiences include running his own catering companies and restaurants, as well as personal chef services in NY, NJ, London, and Scotland.  He has had the privilege of cooking for many well known individuals including Will Smith, Whoopi Goldberg, Mayor Bloomberg, Barbara Walters, Tony Blair, Jamie Dimon and John McEnroe. Chef D was also the 2022 Champion in the Sussex County "Chopped" Competition.
